BY the day, Russia invaded Ukraine a year ago today, by the date, tomorrow.
Be in no doubt about Vladmir Putin’s intent.
In his book Overreach, Owen Matthews leaves us in no doubt on just preciesly where our world, our lives, might be heading.
Consider the writings of a man known personally to Matthews, and upon whom the Russian president has greatly relied, Zachar Prilepin. I leave the reader to look the name up. There is plenty of information on the internet.

War is our national ideology. Well, there you have it. Five words, ten syllables perfectly describing the driving force of that man in the Kremlin.
