A Year on from writing this, we are, as it were, coming out through the other side. It is not over but we are in a much better place than we were twelve months ago. International co-operation is vital. We see, too, how brittle we are. We see the breeding ground of international conspiracy theories, we see the response of the ‘I couldn’t care less’ and ‘I refuse to wear a mask as it breaches my human rights’.
