I step the edge
Blue sky above me
Translucent Emerald below me
Of Glass
To MY emerald eye.
The spring feels light,
The power intense!
I pause …
I poise … … … …

Aloneness

At one with my Maker
Power surges
within me
Up and through me
Spirit and spirit doing that
which tiny minds refuse
and kill, so to silence
But they will NOT silence me!
The surge transmits the board
Surge transmutes to ricochet
Right heel feeling the contour of Left Shin
Up, Down, Up … Down
Striking the palms of balanced feet
Pulsating through and upward
The edge, by toes alone
The spring
The second spring
Right palm holding
left palm sliding the shin
AND RELEASE … RELEASE … RELEASE
Up, Up, Over, Right, left arm embracing right breast
Again Over, Left, right arm embracing left breast
I fly as the Swallow
Swifts eye me in my descent
Playing as we each share this rarified air
Leap
Trust
Freedom
Swallow
FREEDOM
I AM
I Am a Man
I Love Men
I Am a Woman
I Love Women

We love our Gender

We Are Whole
And as I break the water
and descend to depths
far beyond the minds of most
The Spirit conjoins my spirit

Ken Webb is a writer and proofreader. His website, kennwebb.com, showcases his work as a writer, blogger and podcaster, resting on his successive careers as a police officer, progressing to a junior lawyer in succession and trusts as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, a retired officer with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, and latterly, for three years, the owner and editor of two lifestyle magazines in Liverpool.
He also just handed over a successful two year chairmanship in Gloucestershire with Cheltenham Regency Probus.
Pandemic aside, he spends his time equally between his city, Liverpool, and the county of his birth, Gloucestershire.
